I spent this past Sunday in London at comic-con and checking out the general
area. It was fun I truly enjoyed spending a day away from my dorm and checking
out the London air.
First comic-con, it was amazing we went on the last day and go there right in
time to check out some pretty cool costumes. I am not really the gamer type nor
the comic-con type really but I loved going there. My only regret is not
dressing up. There were so many cool things being represented everything from
the classic batman to the more recent and amazing adventure time. I was overwhelmed
with the whole experience. As for the London
experience I got the opportunity to take a picture of Big Ben. I didn't get to
see the whole of London because the place is so
big but I did enjoy just moseying around and riding the London tube. It was so many people out a
country girl like me almost didn't know what to do. Overall the trip was amazing
its not everyday that I will be able to jump up and spend a day in London especially during
comic-con. I am so blessed and fortunate to have these type of opportunities available
to me! Lesson Learned here …always make the best out of the situation you are
give and don’t be afraid to be spontaneous. Oh yea and next time don’t where
heels lol.

Swansea Beach!
Soo to day
was a pretty chill day. I didn’t have any classes so I decided to go to the
beach and get a work out in. the weather here is surprisingly warm. It’s been
mid 60’s for some while here despite the new post I read from a fellow
housemate saying that this winter would be one of the worst Britain has
ever seen. It’s funny when I first got here I was dreading the cold weather now
im actually looking forward to it. I haven’t updated my blog in a while so I thought
I would take the time to give and up close and personal view of how I use the
beach. Funny thing is that im really not a beach person. I don’t like getting
in the water (scared of fishes and seaweed in my toes) and the sand can be a
bother to clean off. On the contrary, if you are going to work out the beach is
one of the best places to go. The sand is good for running because it doesn’t put as
much pressure on your joints as would running on concrete. Here are some
pictures from today’s journey at the beach!
